Now it is being reported that Helio has postponed his wedding as well. On last night's finale Helio kissed Julianne and that of course has sparked whispers that the two are dating. Already this year Sabrina Bryan and her dancing partner Mark Ballas have admitted to a romantic relationship. Is this another love connection for DWTS? Did that cause the break up of his romance with Aliette Vazquez?

OK! Magazine has this online: "Rumors are now circulating that a romance, or even just a flirtation, with the 19-year-old Julianne might have been the final straw in the split. Tuesday night, Helio planted a big, wet one on the bubbly blonde, and all season long, Ali never stopped by the DWTS set to watch her beau dance ― though Helio defended her absence to OK! by saying it would be "bad luck" for her to come and jinx his and Julianne's good run.

Not even a day after IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves won "Dancing With the Stars'' with professional dance partner Julianne Hough, Castroneves' fiancee Aliette Vazquez announced she has broken off her one-year engagement to the newly crowned champ.

Later Wednesday, Castroneves, 32, revealed to the Associated Press that the engagement has been off for "one or two weeks,'' adding, "it's a shame. … I'm sure we're going to be friends.''

It is not clear whether the intense working relationship between dancer and student was the cause of the breakup.

Earlier in the day, Castroneves, on ABC Radio ABC Radio with Hough, 19, explained that during the show, "We are performing … we are both professionals. We are just trying to make sure we have good chemistry.''

Fans of the dance show ― where accomplished ballroom dancers are paired with celebrities from different backgrounds ― witnessed the amazing chemistry between the pair from day one of the show. As well, their quickstep routine, which scored perfect 30s both times it was performed, ended with a big kiss on the lips.

In the radio interview, Castroneves admitted, "I still did like the kiss … that was awesome.''

During last season, Hough, who was partners with Olympic speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno, broke off her engagement to dancer Zach Wilson. On Wednesday, Hough told Access Hollywood: "There was nothing with Apolo last season and there's nothing with Helio now.''

Back in May, I posted a blog item about Hough's fiance and it still gets up to 1,500 hits a day.

[edit] Biography
Julianne Hough was born in 1988, one of five children to an LDS (Mormon) family in Utah. She has a predisposition to dancing -- all four of her grandparents were dancers, and her parents met while on a ballroom dancing team at a college in Idaho. Hough has been dancing since she was a child, often partnered with her brother Derek Hough, who is three years older. She started her formal dance training at Center Stage Performing Arts in Orem, Utah, dancing with Josh Murillo in Latin Ballroom, and was dancing competitively at age 9. However, a year later, her parents divorced, and she and her brother were sent to London, England, to study dance and live with their coaches, world Latin Dance Champions Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas, who raised the Hough children along with their own son Mark Ballas Jr. Hough was later sent to train at Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts. She became the youngest and only American to gain the titles of Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion and International Youth Champion. Hough was also trained in singing.

At age 15, Hough returned to her hometown in Utah. After graduating from Alta High School, she relocated to Los Angeles, California in the hopes of building her singing, acting and dancing career. She was an assistant choreographer on Gwen Stefani's "Wind It Up" music video.

The Hough siblings and Ballas had their own pop music trio called "2B1G(2 Boys 1 Girl)".[2]
