If you listened to Howard Stern's Sirius Radio Show you know that NYC party promoter-designer Ivy Supersonic is in trouble. Yesterday on-air she appealed for help from the listeners in enlisting a lawyer to fight possible felony charges for vandalism.
Ivy Supersonic's public feud with Noel Ashman, proprietor of Plumm on 14th street began on October 27 over a Halloween party she hosted at the club. In dispute is whether or not Ashman still owes Supersonic $1,000 for hosting the gig. The exuberant Ivy admitted to defacing the club with superglue after repeated attempts to get monies owed.
Tomorrow is her surrender date on possible felony charges. An understandably worried Ivy Supersonic emailed FishbowlNY this afternoon:
''I don't know ... I'm going to jail ... a nice man Mike is paying my lawyer for me (tyhrough) latin girl cosmetics -- he heard me on (The Howard Stern Show). Someone needs to make Noel Ashman stop -- its vandalism right now and felony charges ... I don't want to go to jail im 95 lbs.''
Designer Ivy Supersonic recently caught up with promoter Oscar De La Hoya at the final Cotto-Mosley press conference in New York City. Instead of asking only the usual hard-core boxing questions, Sonic and the Golden Boy discussed fashion, music and family.
Sonic: Oscar you have impeccable taste, style, class and charisma. I'd like to know about what's in store for a fashion line?
Oscar De La Hoya: "Most definitely…I'm working on a line right now that will be coming out soon."

Sonic: I'm sure it will be fabulous. Congratulations on your deal with The Ring magazine. Is The Ring going to now change or will it remain the same
Oscar De La Hoya: "It will change…definitely be different."
Sonic: Well, you have an art director's eye. I'm sure it will be sensational. Will you make the cut for the cover?
Oscar De La Hoya: "I'm not looking to splash my face all over the front, but sometimes - on occasions when I deserve it I'll be on the cover."
Sonic: I know you sing…comment.
Oscar De La Hoya: "Yes and my mother sang too."
Sonic: And your wife too?
Oscar De La Hoya: Yes, she's really good.
Sonic: Are you still singing?
Oscar De La Hoya: I loved it. I was even nominated for a Grammy, but I did it and I'm done. It was tough…going into the studio recording…it was so much work…so many hours.
Sonic: Like boxing and training isn't a lot of work?
Oscar De La Hoya: "I'm over singing."
Sonic: You have great genes and you're one of the most handsome fighters that ever lived…since Billy Caan.
Oscar De La Hoya: (smiles)
At the post-fight press conference for Cotto-Mosley, with Golden Boy Promotions' partner Bernard Hopkins present, the question was asked if De La Hoya will fight again...
Oscar De La Hoya: "Who do you think I should fight?"
Sonic: I'll fight you!
Sonic: Bernard, you said you would also fight again. I know you and
Oscar are on the same fence, but you were once enemies. Any chance for you two to have a rematch?
Bernard Hopkins: "We have a marriage."
Sonic: Well, most marriages are dysfunctional.
Bernard Hopkins: "Well, I don't know what kind of marriage you got, but that isn't the type I know or have or want!

Ivy is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. During her college years she launched the denim brand I.B.I.V. The jeans impressed then-Vogue fashion editor Elizabeth Salzman and within three months of their launch the jeans were featured on the cover of Women's Wear Daily. Her jeans were also featured on MTV, Beverly Hills 90210 and Good Morning America.[3] Ivy has designed hats for Pamela Anderson[4], Carmen Electra, Snoop Dogg[5], Hillary Clinton[6], George Clinton, and P. Diddy among others.[1][7][8] Reality tv star Omarosa wore a hat designed by Ivy on the season finale of The Apprentice.
Ivy has thrown parties for Gene Simmons, Wyclef Jean, Tongue Magazine, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Mira! Magazine, and adult actress Gina Lynn.[9]
Ivy had a cartoon character of herself tattooed on her body for the tv show Miami Ink by tattoo artist Kat Von D. The Ivy Supersonic cartoon originated at Universal Music Group. Supersonic bought the cartoon of herself back from Universal in 2002, when they had a high staff turn over.[10] Ivy had 17 tattoos done in 30 days to protest the Sqrat case.

Ivy contends that the idea for the character Scrat from the movie Ice Age was stolen from her after she pitched her character Sqrat, a cross between a squirrel and a rat that she claims to have seen in Central Park, to 20th Century Fox movie executives. Ivy claims she created the character in 1999. A CNN report by Jeanie Moos of Ivy's discovery was aired in 2000, 2 years before Ice Age went into development.[11]
Ivy was offered a $300,000 settlement by Fox but turned it down, and subsequently lost the case. The case is currently in appeal (Case # 04401 Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, NYC). Ivy has continued her "Make Rupert Murdoch Pay" campaign in hopes of still receiving damages for her perceived infringement
